After a very poor start to week 9, I finally completed it today.
I ran with my daughter who out lapped me but it was lovely to have her with me at the start and the end
So I have graduated, although I will have to run for an hour to actually achieve 5k.
Honestly, if you are like me, overweight, later in life and very unfit just give this program a go. I could hardly breathe in week 1 and can now run very slowly for 30 minutes, yes I am still out of breath but must be getting fitter.
Thank you everyone on here for your support and a special thanks to my wonderful daughter Abigail.
Abigail, what have you got me into? Oh let me think!, yes, that’s it a life long commitment to running three times a week 🤦♀️

Yay, congratulations on completing the programme. I recently graduated myself and still feel amazed I can run x3 a week. Happy running into 2019 and slow and steady is the way to go (and I practice what I preach!).
Congratulations on completing C25K with week 9 run 3, lovely photo of both of you, your time of 1 hour for a 5K will improve through time, with the help of your daughter, once again, well done. 😊
Congratulations. Yes it feels great to have completed it. Well done for keeping it up. It can sometimes be a bit demoralising reading some of the posts of people running 5k in 30 mins when your struggling just to do 30 mins in any distance but Yes you are getting fitter and it really doesn’t matter how far you go as long as you are going. I graduated in the summer and my distance is slowly getting longer and my speed quicker but I am just so pleased with myself for actually running Keep it up and very well done 👍🏻
Huge well done Mum. You’ve done absolutely amazing. You really have! You should be so, so, so proud of yourself. I certainly am proud of you! Your an inspiration to me and probably hundreds of other people.
You are more than welcome for the support, I would never have got through C25K without your support and encouragement, so you really are welcome.
I love you and I am so damn proud of you I could burst.
