Can anybody tell me how far this should take me? Strava says I did 2.03 miles and my pace was 14.36 is this about average or do I need to pick up my pace .... I did have to stop to open 2 gates on the Bridleway 😁

You ran at exactly the right pace ... for you.

C25K is undertaken by an incredibly wide range demographic (old, young, male, female, fit, infirm, outdoors, treadmill etc). The only parameter that matters is time. Speed, pace, distance are irrelevant.

That’s right, all of the Weeks (so far) are coming in at 2 to 2.5 miles on my Strava and I’m on W5 now

First thing you need to do is forget about distance and speed, your focus should be on completing the runs at whatever pace you can complete them in.

I did W2 as an interval training run this morning, I ran faster (50%) than I do on my longer runs, my pace was my pace, not yours or anyone elses.

As the weeks progress you may find that you can't maintain the same pace as you can in the earlier weeks.

Start thinking of Couch to 30 minutes instead of Couch to 5k.

I think this is where the programme is a little misleading. Although it's catchy calling it C25K in my experience not many people run 5k in 30 minutes. My first 5k after completing the programmes took 37 minutes.

Just an oxymoron.. and so, so many posts about this... C230 is not as you say, quite as catchy..... That is why the programme app now specifics 5K or 30 Minutes in nine weeks:)

We have polls on here that show how many people do not run 5K in 30 minutes... and never have and never will... but, they run Marathons and half marathons:)

This was one of our best posts about it:)
