Week 6: it's a wrap!

Just back from the Common and ran my 25' non stop! and after going back to work this week.

I had one power song on all the way to give me a consistent pace, and this worked well for me.

And I found it easier to run without the intervals. When Laura said I had run 12,5' I was amazed but then had a bit of a panic moment as I started to think I wouldn't be able to run another 12,5' and I really had to talk myself through this. it's also quite interesting how I am starting to manage my mind a but differently - I guess this is the stamina building talks about.

Anyway - I don't want to bore you all with this :)

Off to week 7!

The reason that I said that was on certain apps, certainly the one which Laura is the coach, she tells you just before the end of the cool down walk "Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER " other coaches may not say that.

You will - you definitely will. Just dont go too fast and take rest days and if you are tired or didnt sleep well, take another rest day. If I did it, so can you.

Really well done. What’s your music that you had on for the whole 25 minutes???

'there's no limit' from 2unlimited. An old dance thing from the 90s! I am sure you know it, it goes:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no there's no limit

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no there's no limit

No, no limits, we'll reach for the sky

No valley to deep, no mountain too high

No, no limits, won't give up the fight

We do what we want and we do it with pride

The lyrics were fit for purpose too!

(don't judge me :))

I usually listen to Michael Giacchino who composes a lot of Pixar music, and especially the soundtrack of Inside Out, a pure enchantment. But today, I was in need of a power-song!

Well done. I wrapped W6R3 up this morning. First time I found a week challenging but I guess that's the idea.

Welldone! Funnily the most challenging weeks for me were the first two ones. I was so out of breath, red, and all after 60 seconds, knowing I had never ever run in my life. It's still hard now but a different kind of different, more in my head. Good luck for week 7!
