week 6 completed- whoop!

I timed it so the rain was easing off and then I went. We’ve had a lot of rain over weekend so the preferred field path was a no go (decided I needed to concentrate and not be distracted by trying to avoid the mud and puddles and larger stones). So a pavement run around the back streets and then twice along an uneventful path by a stream - had to get some nature in there somewhere. 🙂 my feet were thanking me for the smooth surfaces and as it was rainy I was glad to be running nearer to home and nearer to shelter at the end. 25 mins run wasn’t too bad at all - a pleasant surprise! I deliberately kept it slow throughout, only really quickening for the last minute as Steve Cram cheered me over the line. I enjoyed that, was drenched by the time I got back home but soon I was clean and cosy warm again. Week 7 I’m coming for ya!

Woohoo! I am a week behind you. I put off my last run because it was too cold and then the weather gods taunted me by making it snow the last day...but I still ran! Three cheers for us and our wet, sometimes frozen, feet.

Well done! Yes it’s a mental challenge against the weather sometimes- I can’t get on with running jackets so I do light rain but try to avoid anything more,
