Week 5 Day 1

I have graduated twice before, starting over yet again after several life roadblocks. This time I have felt the week-five-dread more than in the past - But, but, but... I'm older. I'm fatter. I'm less stretchy than I was in the past!

Today was the fist run of week 5. Being much like week 4 I was certain I could get through it with lots of pain and dread and sweating. I got out on the trail around the lake and just resigned myself to suffer through. <Sigh/>

But so much to my surprise this was honestly the easiest run so far! I guess I am getting in much fitter than I thought. I am so ready for 8 minutes at a time!!! It is almost a disappointment that I have to wait through an off day before I can impress myself again!

Great running... I see the bug has bitten again... it’ll soon be Sunday! Bit of cross training tomorrow should satisfy the endorphin craving. Enjoy that run 2... the bell is the exact half way point to graduating again.

Well done! That's awesome! I also did Week 5 Run 1 today too! My run was through the woods, by the river and under the trees. I was dreading this run. But was enjoying it so much that I carried on running on the last run 😊

Still daunted by Run 2, but looking forward to the challenge.

Keep up the good work!
