Enjoyed W6R2

I found the breaks in the last run unsettling having done the 20 mins the 3 different sections weren’t so enjoyable, but I did enjoy today’s run. The 2 lots of 10 minutes, and I chatted throughout, and my recovery was quite quick to. Now I need to see if I can run for 25 minutes without stopping on Friday.

Both times I have done week 6 the drop back to the intervals threw me big time, strange after only one long run.

Thee is a mantra I used the first time:

If I can run for 20 minutes, then I can run for 25,

If I can run for 25 minutes, then I can run for 28,

If I can run for 28 minutes then I can run for 30,

If I can run for 30 minutes then I can graduate.

Trust the program, believe in yourself and just go slow and steady, you will do it.

No problem, enjoy the last couple of weeks on your way to the podium.

The program prepares your body for the runs, only you can prepare your head and accept you can do it. You've now cracked it, congrats.

Thank you. My head is very happy right now. Great feeling and I know I could have run for longer so bring on wk 7.
