Where to Run?

Hi, I'm wanting to start CT5K but I'm not sure where is best to run?

I live on a housing estate and have access to the field by my house.

Does anyone know where would be best?

The nearest park or off road cycle or walking routes are best to run when you are doing the C25K course, if you want to run around that field, feel free to do so. 😊 🏃

You can run anywhere you feel safe, really. I would avoid routes where you might have to keep stopping to cross busy roads, or anywhere that might be very crowded. So you could either run on the pavements round your estate, if that works for you, or you could do circuits of the field, or a combination of both. The field might be good if it's nice and flat and the grass isn't too long. Some people find running on grass a bit gentler on the knees and shins than running on tarmac.

I usually run in my local park but I find it's a lot better in the evenings when it's quieter as on a Saturday or Sunday morning I find myself having to dodge big groups of families eating ice creams or wayward toddlers veering in front of me on balance-bikes.
