I normally run in Norfolk (not known for its hills) but will hopefully be completeing week 7/ starting week 8 in Bath. Any tips on where to run in Bath that's not too hilly. I'm staying on Englishcombe lane to the south of the city and won't have a car.

Hey I'm from bath. I would normally suggest running along the river (Avon) starting in the centre out to saltford or along the canal out to Bathford. However Englishcomb is at the top of a big hill in Southdown so your best bet is to walk up Englishcomb lane to whiteway road. Start at Haycombe cemetery and run the opposite way to the VERY big hill towards Odd Down and then depending on how far you want to run onto Combe Down. It won't be entirely flat but it's your best bet. Hope that helps and enjoy Bath!!

My daughter's at uni in Bath. :) I've been wondering about places to run there too, when I go to visit. There's a good path starting along the river which continues on towards Bristol (the path probably has a name), which looks like a nice place to run. Most of Bath is scary h*lls though! :O

Okay, to update on this, there are some nice runs from the uni, so if you can park here when it's free on a Sunday you're golden. Around the golf course, through the national trust land. Sorted.
