Just got back from the 25 min 'run' and it feels very accomplished, but it was also probably the hardest run so far for me. Fresh tattoo on back (from last Thurs afternoon), ate a lot of rubbish and put on weight over last half-week, going out a bit later than normal so dealing with lots of people zooming past me, and well.. I wanted to give up at 5 mins and at 10 mins, and at 24 mins.
I actually tracked it today for the first time, and my guesses were right, I'm doing around 3k, depends if I count the walks before and after, but that was close to 3k of slow jogging.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to finish week 9 at this point (something I never thought I'd do). And then after that I guess I can see if I care about my pace.
So yay, bye to week 6 and hello to week 7 on Thursday
