Hi there

Just a quickie-which app do people use for tracking distance? I am about to repeat W5 R1 due to having had a week off and am keen to start seeing how far I am going. This forum is fab and so inspirational and thanks in advance for any help you can give me

I was using the Activity app on my iphone/watch however I have just switched to Strava primarily so that my children can track my progress/heap encouragement/advice πŸ˜€. Both track routes and distances well enough for my needs. Strava is better for sharing with a group.

I use Strava. I bought a running watch (Garmin Forerunner 15 ) on eBay for Β£20 and it links to Strava. Strava is good for following friends and it is nice to go back and compare progress.

I use Strava, It runs along side c25k and my music with no problems 😊

No need to repeat the run because you had a week off. You will not lose discernible condition in the first two weeks of non running.

I am loyal to Runkeeper, because you can set up your own interval workouts on it.

Strava is a great app to start with. Once I started running further I moved onto a garmin forerunner 35 watch which also downloads to Strava automatically. While on c25k, time is most important though.

I have just started using mapmyrun, the free version app which is working well for me so far. It tells me time, distance, pace and shows a little map of my route which is quite fun. A voice also tells me when I have done a mile.

I use Runtastic but people on here mention Strava and Map My Run.
