Last week of running before puppy mayhem

Just pondering after return from another 30ish mins /4K ish run what I might be posting this time next week when life as I know it will be turned on its head! New puppy arrives and I’ve been panicking for weeks thinking ,’when will I run ?’. Luckily for me I get school holidays so after a probable running drought of a couple of weeks , I should be able to get out but once back at work my 5:15 run seems unlikely until he’s old enough to come with me of course! Hope I don’t lose my running mojo as hoping this time next year my 30ish mins produce 5k ish plus results and a well trained pup! Will keep you posted!!🐶

Oooh what puppy you getting ?

If you have a place to leave him you should still be able to get your runs in, he will probably need to get used to staying alone from time to time no ?

Mixed breed of German Wire Haired Pointer mum and lab dad. Yes it’s not really the leaving, it’s getting up before work to run which is a tight squeeze as it is so add in: say hello to puppy, take out for a wee, play with him a bit, feed him, I’ll have run out of time, plus not fair to leave him again when I’m off to work ( puppy sitter / walker will arrive hour or so after last person leaves house). Might have to switch to post work runs 😩😩😩😱

Yeah, I'm up at 5 to walk mine, then run, then shower and all that stuff, then out for my train, but there's 2 of them, and coming from kennels (ex greyhound racers) they are not used to one on one fussing so they are pretty independant and keep each other company.
