Nearly there - who’d have thought it?!

Week 8 completed. Feeling so thrilled with myself. My face is scarlet, my calves ache, but I did it. I’m 61 and overweight and I’ve never done any competitive sport in my life, but I’m chuffed because I ran a minute a mile faster than last time - and I wasn’t trying to. I just set off and ran at a steady pace (as Michael Johnson told me to). Bring on Week 9!

Great run... a minute a mile is a big leap in one go. Now you’re ready for your victory lap... enjoy those 30 minute runs.
