After never running in my life I completed couch to 5k mid May , It was one of my proudest achievements, but 6 weeks on I’m struggling to get 3 runs in a week, my ankle is giving me grief but I don’t want to quit , I could challenge myself to 10 k because I just couldn’t do it !!! What can I do to stay motivated🤔🤔🤔

Well done in still running , what about new routes or even new music to listen too. Be careful with your ankle have you tried ankle support for it 😊

How about putting in some slightly challenging (but not too challenging) runs in places that mean something to you? For example, I had goals to run along a particular beach when I once went on holiday and around a particular headland where I've had great times walking. I put them in my calendar and trained for them.

Start doing Parkrun on Saturday mornings. I find it a great motivation and I run twice during the week and the Parkrun on Saturday. Give it a go. Hope your injury gets sorted out soon.

Yes I’m going try a park run , I’m determined not to give up😆thanks for the advice, I will be a real runner .

There are lots of graduates posting about ‘what happened next’ and I hope that these will be collected in one place. there are so many inspirational stories and they all started where you are right now.

Have a scroll through and set yourself some goals. Where would you like to be in a years time or 2years time; how will you get there?
