Hi
Just wondered whether people listen to music when they run and what they listen to if they do?

Hi
Just wondered whether people listen to music when they run and what they listen to if they do?
Rock workout playlist my poison.
Mine is a mix of everything, james brown, amy whitehouse, bruno mars, gnarls berkley/cee lo, Disturbed, otis redding, Prince....
I just added Martha Reeve and the Vandellas "like a heatwave" cos it seemed appropriate : )
I hit shuffle and let the shuffle gods decide what comes up when
I have found Dakota by the stereophonic to be my exact pace (slow!😂). So I have looked up how many beats per minute it has (146) and googled songs with the same bpm. Came up with loads of “running songs”. This made me feel good as it actually means I must be running!! Lol
I am following a Spotify play list called 'Pop warmup 130BPM', seems to be a good pace for me and a variety of songs I know and some new ones too!
I also use Spotify Pop warmup 130BPM and Fun Run 150BPM. There are quite a few playlists to choose from. There’s also a Couch to 5K playlist. I googled to find the the ideal BPM for beginner runners. Happy running and enjoy your vibes. 😁😎
I have a workout playlist. Starts with the Black Keys.
Absolutely listen to music made my own play list of all my favourite rock and away I go 🤪🤘 quick note though, earlier in the program I looked to the run to Rocky playlist it nearly killed me as I regressed back to being a super fit 18 year old racing snake and I ran like the wind 🤪🤪😂😂
I can't imagine running without music. It helps to get into the zone and switch off from the rest of the world. I've made my own playlist that rocks hard enough to keep me going. Often tempted to sing along but luckily for other people I've not enough puff.
Couch to 5k playlist on Spotify does it for me
System of a Down is good for varying your speed 😂
I have a whole host of different playlists so I don’t have to have the same one each run. This morning was my Queen playlist- fave track on this one is Keep Yourself Alice. If you use Spotify you should search out the Retro Runners - there are a number of playlists put together by Jancanrun and a whole group of C25kers with different themes.
Has to be Springsteen “Born to Run”!!!
Hi i listen to music it stops me focussing on the time. I have a playlist on spotify. Music helps you keep a steady pace. Choose your favourite music it motivates!!
Only my most favourite and motivating songs - mainly from the 80s and a lot of soundtrack music including from Top Gun, Flashdance & Rocky 😂😂
I have, to put it mildly, an eclectic mix which I stick on shuffle. Most of the songs I picked for a decent bpm and being a reasonable length (between 3 and 4 minutes) so I can use them as a rough estimate for my warm up walk and how long I've been out. Amazon music has a few running playlists premade and I can't say I was a fan of electronic music before but it's grown on me
