Just done W3 run 1. Wk1 and 2 went ok ( prob due to brisk walking for last months) A bit apprehensive about the 3 mins but it went a lot better than thought.
Concern is I feel I'm going at an Ok steady pace but I'm not overly exhausted at the end so too slow?

There is no too slow... and you donโt have to finish a run exhausted. If you can talk in full sentences while running then youโre running at the right pace for this plan. Great job so far.
Just to give you an idea of how slow I go, I just completed R2W3 at the stately running pace of 5.3km/h. At the end I was hot and my muscles were a little tingly but I was not dead on my feet. I believe the goal of the programme is to get through each stage without injury or feeling like it's a punishment. We are going to be running for the rest of our lives so we have a long time to improve our speed! Enjoy your running journey ๐๐๐๐
Thanks for the comments. My brisk walking rate is 6.5K in 58/59 mins. So after couch ended I carried on brisk walking slower jogging until I reached 5K, that took 42 mins. So my first target of 5K under 45mins is reached. Main target is complete the course.
