Went out on week 8 run three and went to pieces. Had no trouble with the other two 28 mins but suddenly found breathing a real effort. Could the hay fever be doing this. I am feeling like going back a few weeks until the pollen season is over. Feeling really down about this. I was Doing so well.

Could be the pollen... the sudden increase in temperature... the humidity too... or it could just be one of those runs that sucks, everybody gets them. A tough run isn’t the same as not doing well... today’s run made you a better, stronger, fitter runner just like the easier ones. Your call with the hay fever, only you know about that, but the next run after a tough one is normally much smoother. Happy running.

yes, hayfever can absolutely do this (I speak from experience)

do you take anything for it? Do you know what you're allergic too? If it allergies and it is giving you breathing problems it's worth getting tested if you don't already know. Forewarned is forearmed as they say

I don't know what the weather's like there but it could also be the humidity maybe?

Could be the heat and the pollen. My daughter has asthma and hayfever and her doctor advised her to take a antihistamine from March to October. Seems to help 😊

Can you get out really early ? Sometimes helps. Don’t worry about the run going wrong: always remember the First Rule of C25k - The only run you fail is the run you don’t go for !
