Took the graduation celebrations too far!!

I took the 'completing C25K' celebrations far too far 😊 I did my last run last Tuesday and then had a few days off work, met up with friends, had a day at Ascot, looked after my grandson for two days and I've eaten too much, drunk too much and haven't run at all for the last six days! It was fabulous!

Back to it today, had a run this morning, slow and steady, planned to run 20 minutes and managed it, it was hard work but I love the feeling when I'm done! So relieved I could still do it (had visions of having to start again 🙄).

Back to eating well too, which will be a great relief to my stomach!

Have a lovely Monday.

I took a week off after C25k and then found out a regular week off every couple of months is a good thing to do anyway as it gives all the niggles a chance to heal! Welcome to the massive world of regular running! Enjoy!
