Well this is new!?!

Yesterday I managed to drag myself through week 6 run 2, it was my first outdoor run since week 4, due to work commitments I did week 5 on a treadmill, so, what might be new I hear you all cry?? Well for the first time in doing this program my thighs are very sore, I’m due to complete week 6 tomorrow and wondering if I should take another rest day?

The only thing that’s really changed is getting my gait analysis done and getting a rather swanky pair of shoes to correct my pronation, would that have such an effect?? 🤪🤘🤪🤘

Is it an "I over did it, kind of 24-48 hours after sport" pain or an "oh shoot something's wrong" kind of pain ?

It feels like I’ve been doing squats with a mini! It is just that really sore I’ve not exercised for 20 years feeling, it’s just weird cos I’ve not had this at any time in the past 6 weeks on the program

Did you go out faster than usual because your new shoes have super powers ? I'm guessing you overdid ? How was your pace compared to treadmill ?

My pace was 40 secs slower per KM compared to run 1
