Hi all well I did it yesterday, week before my 63rd birthday as planned!
I felt very nervous but finished in 38 mins 15s, felt chuffed and exhilerated, the hill training paid off since graduating. No park run this saturday due to Rsce for Life but I'll be there the following week
Good luck to all still on their journey to graduation π

Congratulations Winter76 on completing your first 5k Parkrun, well done, yes you were a little nervous at first but you enjoyed the run, good time as well.
That is fantastic - a massive congrats! I did run 1 of week 9 along the seafront where a park run was going on and it looked do-able (maybe!) in a week or two. Am so impressed, just love reading posts like yours - it spurs me on.... happy running!π
Well done Winter76 I also ran my first parkrun on Saturday after graduating very recently, exhilarating and a real sign of progress. C25K does what it says on the tin βΊοΈπ
