I completed my first 'rain run' yesterday with my running group. I don't mean running in light rain, which I've done before. This was torrential rain that started just as we began running. I can't say I enjoyed it, with water dripping off my nose, wet feet and basically getting soaked down to the skin 😲 But I'm feeling proud that we kept going and finished our 30 minute run 😊 Although I'm not sure I would choose to run in conditions like that again 😂 So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather improves this weekend as I'm doing Race for Life!

Baseball hat! I was dreading running in the rain so googled suggestions, best one I found for me was the hat as kept water out my face and got home not realising how soaked through I’d actually gotten.

Thanks. I might try that in future. And I guess a cap would also be good for keeping the sun out of my eyes. When the sun makes a reappearance anyway 😅

.it started raining during my run today and i still kept running cause it felt soooo good...my neighbor passed me on the street and offered me a ride and i declined!!...go figure..

Ididnt want to give up my run cause of rain....this really feels good..
