How do you guys cope with all this rain? Any essential gear to keep me from getting a chill?

It's unending isn't it.

Luckily I do my runs on a treadmill but I get a regular drenching from walking the dogs twice a day

Large brim cap.. Trail Heads do a great one... I have two... I wear glasses and it is fine... rain or shine.. and I have lightweight breathable Ron Hill jackets... showerproof and light to carry.. Bought online in sales... funky colours too and very high viz

In my experience you won’t get a chill if you keep moving. But wrap up afterwards. That’s when you feel it.

A lightweight run jacket is as cheap as chips, as is a cap. Mine were both from Aldi and are going strong years after I first bought them Mine has a hood as well, which is a boon.
