so happy, just done my first 32 min run tonight without the trainer and just me, my fitbit and my brilliant ipod choosing the soundtrack to running in the rain. Loved it....though hope i can ward off the cold lol!!!

Good for you Molint, I hope you enjoyed your first post-graduation run, just be careful when running in the rain, wrap up well, the surest way to get a cold.

Well done. It really suits some to run alone but I’ve found it hard doing the longer runs at the end of C25K on my own, so just braved it tonight and went to a running club 😜

thank you everyone for your kind and encouraging words. i will be careful when running in the rain....but its also so exhilarating i love it.

and thanks dottie also - we all have our mojo that works for us-well done you for getting out there. i felt the same when i came home from work-not easy to put those shorts and running shoes on when the weather is bleugh but the feeling of smasing a run when you dont always believe youre motivated to do so is such a great feeling.

no not yet Jaojao although ironically i registered for a park run nearby just this weekend and would love to do one - have my barcode at the ready....problem is 9am on a saturday is when i play football so ill need to wait for a weekend there's no game on and ill be at that park ready to give it a go.

do you do park runs? are they fun?
