Slow and steady... it is a way to go to the 30 minute runs:)

What a beautiful location too.. freeing your body and easing our mind sounds perfect to me! I love the early morning runs:)

Thank you. I’m not a complete newbie, I’ve made it to week 4 previously but due to my twitching constantly I started losing the sensation in my leg and had to stop. The scenery is great out here

Well done all round! Through personal experience I know how hard it can be to get outside, especially if you get conflicting feelings (you don’t really want to be inside or out), so hopefully you feel a step closer to feeling more positive that you can and will conquer your ‘fear’ - good luck, keep us posted and fab scenery 🤗 x

Thank you. I’ve learned that a lot of people run to help clear their mind. I put my headphones in, turn them up full and just get on with it, as much as I hate it at the moment

Taking control and choosing to step out of the comfort zone is such a good step. It might be easier to hide but hopefully you'll start to feel the benefits of just taking the decision yourself rather than being thrust into situations.

A lot of people, myself included do use running to help with mental health issues.

Good luck with your journey 👍😁

I have noticed a lot of people run to handle their MH. One guy I chat to said that running literally saved his life.

Well done.

Learning to run is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself.

Following the plan, taking that gentle progression from first difficult runs, through to running non stop for thirty minutes can be taken as an analogy of so many other parts of life.

We can all do so much more than we think, if we do it in small steps.

Keep running, keep smiling.
