Run 2 of Week 2 Completed.

So after my last run, I fella I know pointed out to me that my running shoes were done. The cushion had all but collapsed in them. Hardly surprising as I’ve owned them for about 4years.

So on his advise I visited an online sports shoe retailer and got myself the bad boys in the picture attached.

They arrived in time for today’s run and oh my word! What a difference! I could instantly feel the benefits of the cushioning in the new shoes. There was definitely less impact on my legs, I didn’t feel like my feet were crashing into the ground with each step.

In total today I completed a distance of 4.23km’s and my legs are not in pain today!

So for those starting out or planning to start, please invest in a set of new dedicated running shoes, your legs will thank you for it!
