W6 D1 - felt good

I decided to try running at a slightly slower pace today, going a bit easier on myself, listening to my body and being a bit more gentle with my feet.

So, it went really well and has made me realise how far I've come. I could have easily just ran continously for the whole 30 minutes at this pace - I was never once gasping for breath, in pain (except for a previous calf niggle) or struggling and my legs felt light and responsive.

Feeling positive and can't wait for the next run.

Great and intelligent running. That run catches a lot of people out. Yes, you could probably run 30 straight... but it would be a risk that’s not worth taking, as I’m sure you know. That comfortable, happy pace is where most of your running should be always and certainly for the rest of this plan. Enjoy run 2... then it’s into those wonderful just running runs.
