Here is my first without Laura run. I felt really good although I feel like I've run 10K. I didn't walk much at the beginning but stretched instead so it's a bit more of a true 5K. I changed my route completely to one that I couldn't really run at night although it's on an industrial estate so probably could. I also changed my playlist and shuffled it up a bit so all in all I really enjoyed it!
My breathing is much much easier, once I get into a comfortable pace and my anxiety has calmed down a bit! I hate being anxious! It makes my face redder!!! Haha!
Anyway I probably won't keep posting stats until I start to improve but please feel free to have a look at my blog elsiew@wordpress.com where I am going to record all things running and stuff!

Glad you had a good one Elsie! 🙂 It's great to try different routes isn't it? I love exploring new paths and tracks when I am on trails, although tend to suss out new routes beforehand on Runkeeper so I don't end up lost!😮
Don't apologise..........I use runkeeper! I've found it really good and accurate although I have just bought a TomTom watch as a treat now I've graduated!!! xxx
Hey running bud, well done on completing your first solo mission.
Look at you! A full 5k on your first outing as a graduate, now that's impressive. I'll probably try that tomorrow. (not sure about going solo or calling on Laura again).
Did shuffling your playlist help in the pace of running? Did you get the tomtom with music by any chance?
" I reckon you'll be at 10K before you know it!"..... That's why I'm thinking of running with Laura, otherwise I'll never get back home!!
Now that it will be block runs, try using this website audio-joiner.com/ all it does is joins all your songs together, I found it better than that little silence between songs.
I'm still undecided between the watch or some decent Bluetooth headphones or even both
