I know this sounds daft, but I am really not very good with technology(understatement) but with this programme can I use the app when I need to use a treadmill! if I cant get out for whatever reason?? I know with Strava it needs to pick up a signal. Daft question I know, but I thought I'd check before I started out.

Yep... you’re running to times, distance is irrelevant, so the app works just the same. I believe Strava will also have a setting for treadmill, my tracker and my watch both do, but I’m not a Strava user so don’t know specifically where that setting will be.
Ah so this is where I come unstuck, I don't have a watch, so will just use my phone strapped to my arm I guess. I've not found the treadmill setting on Strava, and was a bit miffed when I'd clocked up 10k and it didn't record. I think I'll just have to bite the bullet and go outdoors. Thanks again
Some say if it’s not on Strava it didn’t happen... but they’re wrong! You know you did it... a stored record of that run doesn’t matter one little bit... unless you’re planning on taking on Mo Farah any time soon, then that data would be pretty essential 🤣. I’m sure a Strava user will be along soon and tell you where the setting is.

Sure. Both the app and the podcast work just fine and lots of folks on here used treadmills back in January when I was starting. I used to envy them when the icy wind was blowing! 🤣
