Well,I’m into wk 9r2,who would have believed it! I still going slowly so my aim is to jog a little faster once I have finished wk9 ,which by the way has taken me since the end of January .I have no idea of the distance I run in the 30 mins, can anyone suggest a gadget that I can track my distance whilst jogging please? I cannot put an app on my mobile as it’s so old!

Hi and well done on getting this far. Having tried it myself I would really recommend not trying to run faster after graduation but just to keep your three 30’ runs a week for at least a month, after you can vary. I tried to speed up and I hated it and nearly gave it all up. I also progressed a lot in that consolidation phase.

It will come naturally as you run more. You’ll see once you consolidate suddenly you’ll feel a big progression

If you know the route you can measure distance on Google maps by drawing lines.

Well done - graduation is just round the corner 🤗 x As for gadgets if you can get online (and this is just my honest opinion) you could try Amazon (might find a good bargain) for new or used. If you prefer the high street - charity shops (and again just my opinion) there’s Game, Cex etc. Hope that helps x
