However it didn't work so I have no idea of distance. Finding out my time and distance is what kept me going ... Is there any other app out there that will tell me the distance without having to run it again!!
Can anyone help... PLEASE. I used an app to re... - Couch to 5K
Can anyone help... PLEASE. I used an app to record distance time
Also use mapmyrun and on those occasions where I get back and it hasn't logged anything or just the first bit I plot it manually on 'create run' to see how far I haven't gone
Haven't logged anything for a couple of weeks but will start again from tomorrow and will be interested to see if anything has improved despite lack of monitoring and stressing!
Hi. I use Runkeeper alongside the podcasts. It is a free app and will track your route using gps and tell you yr distance, time and average minutes per mile. I find it helps me so that if i feel i've had a bad run it atill shows improvement.
Hi, Mapmyrun is okay but can be incorrect in wooded areas. Might be a good time to invest in a Garmin, I have a forerunner 10 and love it! Good luck!
I also like the mapometer website I've used it to plan my runs before, I do feel your pain, it is annoying when you lose your data.
If you go to walkjogrun you can put your route in manually, its a bit of a fiddle but it will tell you your distance and you can save the route for the future. Mapmyrun has a similar feature where you can plot the route manually.
Run the same route next time? Look at your phone when you get to the same place you finished last time? Or take advantage of the lovely weather today and walk it later?
I use endomondo occasionally. Also our county council website has an interactive map that you draw lines on and it adds up your distance
Mapometer is really good, easy to use and obvious, even for the non-techie like me
Endemondo. seems better than runkeeper....so far!!
I use mapometer to plot my runs so I know distance and where I'm going but I use nike plus when I'm actually running xxx
nike+ run app. you can use a web browser to create and plan runs from your nike accout. unfortunately they do not sync to the app. yet.
If you are still doing the programme yo are much better off not tracking speed/distance. That is the cause of many problems for people on here. All that worry about whether you are fast enough or running far enough...
Save the tracking for post graduation.
