Hi everyone. I'm new to the whole running thing. Last time I recall running was a sports day in primary school so I am well out of practise but saying that I want to get into running properly. I want to do this sensibly and avoid an injury which will set me back or make me give up.
Have you any tips to help me get started?
Thank you all!

Make sure you have a decent pair of running trainers, socks and sports bra. Don't go too fast as it will mess with your breathing. Remember to stretch afterwards. I'm into week 8 and those are the main things I've stuck with and so far, so good. Good luck.
Drink plenty of water every day, run slow and steady (a light jog), and respect the rest days in between runs. The programme really works - it took me a while to believe that I really could do it! - so just trust in the programme and don't worry if each new week sounds like a challenge because you will be ready for it. Good luck, keep posting!
