Who’d have thought this ‘ere couch potato would be up at silly o’clock on a cold, dreich day to go running? Am amazed at how this programme works, building confidence and stamina week by week. I managed the three five minute runs today and wasn’t willing it to end! Here’s a short poetic reflection...

Now when it comes to running

I may never be a hare

I’m much more of a tortoise

But you know what? I don’t care!

At school I hated doing gym

Because of how I looked

But here I am, I’m running

And I think I may be hooked 🙂

Indeed! I even had my breeks on properly today as well 🙂! No fear of it being too hot to run where I am, that’s for sure! Happy running 👍

I call it the butt crack of dawn : )

This poem may be sappy

But I hope you are happy

You may not have believed

But look what you've achieved !

I hope week 5 goes well

And you finish feeling swell

You got up with the lark

Got to the half way mark

Nearly the home straight

You will do great

Then weeks 6, 7 and 8

Then you grad-u-ate
