A few weeks ago, after ‘running’ on and off over a few years, I wasn’t able to run for much more than one minute, no matter how slow I made myself go. I’d get really puffed out and do run walk, run walk for about half hour a few times a week around work and family. So, to have completed 25 minutes of running yesterday is still quite mind blowing and I still can’t quite believe I’ve completed W7R1! I’m going to be 60 this year, I’m a nurse (working) a wife, a mother and grandmother with various bits of me feeling like they’re giving up or falling apart and have found that this time, the running bug has ‘kicked in’! Not sure I’ll be following my husband by running marathons, but you never know. To all you lovey people that have made a start and have got up off the settee ......you can do this! 💪🏻👋🏽🏅🏃♂️🏃🏻♀️
