Hi. Has anyone had a gait analysis done at DWSports? Are they any good?

Also if anyone wears Aftershokz headphones are they okay for listening to podcasts or audiobooks? Read some reviews which say the sound quality isnt the best so thought I'd ask before buying some. TIA x

I had gait analysis at a specialist running shop. Not sure how well informed they are at DWSports so would be unfair for me to comment.

I use Aftershokz titanium headphones and wouldn’t swap them for anything. Yeah, the sound quality isn’t brilliant but more than good enough to listen to whilst running. The BIG bonus with Aftershokz is being able to listen out to traffic, bike riders etc whilst running.

Not at DW but I have just had mine done at up and Running (running shop in Shrewsbury). I cannot fault or underestimate how fantastic, patient and knowledgeable the assistant was. It felt like I was there for hours lol and after trying on and being filmed running on the treadmill and reviewing footage together frame by frame, I am more than confident it was the right place to go. I can’t imagine DW having the time or expertise to be that thorough but I may be doing them a disservice 😳

Hi Danis I just posted this in reply to another post.....

I've found some earphones I love. They are Trekz Air by Aftershockz.

They are quite small and go over your ears but they aren't 'over ear' as such. They use bone induction to transfer the sound but don't go in your ears so you can still hear stuff around you. They are also very light.

Have a look online for a better explanation but I love them.

They were quite expensive at 150 quid but there are more cost effective ones on the market if you think this type will suit you.

Hope this helps

I've got the Aftershokz Titanium. I've not listened to podcasts with them but am very happy with them for my music, both soft and loud alike. Great to still be able to hear the birds too.

Not sure that there is any real difference in the Air to Titanium and even the 'Mini' which are substantially cheaper.

I listen to my audio books on Aftershokz Titanium and no complaints at all
