W5r1 - a difficult start

I was well-hydrated, and with a fab running buddy, but my legs felt heavy, and the first five minutes was hard work. However, things started to improve, thankfully, and I completed the run with a bit of a sprint, like I like to do.

I have to say that I do find it easier to run with music, but it would be a bit rude to plug earplugs in when I’m beside someone!

I am looking forward to the challenge of running for eight minutes on Wednesday. I have caught up with my group, who were on week 4 when I started! They have repeated several runs, which explains a lot. We can all run together, even though they seem a lot faster than me. I think running very slowly explains why I’ve been able to catch up. One day I’ll work on speed, but for now, I’m happy to joffle along and embrace my inner snail 🐌. 😊

Well done on completing the run and on having enough left for a bit of a sprint! (Do snails sprint? You must have seen Turbo the cartoon snail ?)
