Can anyone recommend which stretches and how many to do before running. Already posted about 2 failed week 9 runs and want to be more prepared this week😊

We recommend ‘dynamic’ stretches before running: this means brisk walking, perhaps with knee raises and kicking your heels up. Cold muscles and ligaments don’t take kindly to “stretch and hold” type of stretching. It is easy to tear or strain something when you’ve not warmed up.

But static stretches after running are important. You’ll find post-running stretches on NHS Direct (sorry I do not have the link on my phone).
