I’m so proud of myself at the moment. As someone who has a disability causing joint and nerve pain across my whole body, I’ve spent the last 7 years since my first meaningful doctors appointment believing that I would never be able to run without causing more damage and pain the next day. Today I’m waking up after completing week 1 with only the generic aches associated with doing any exercise and feeling so much stronger for it. I even must have ran a little faster yesterday as I had to do an extra walk around the block at the end to fill the time!
