It's been a hard 7 weeks but definitely starting to get what this running lark is all about and getting a bit addicted. Decided now I've run 25 mins three times and survived it was a good time to give my near 40 year old joints a rest and treat myself to some decent running shoes. My decathlon £10 specials have done a great job but going through the full run4it lab, checking out clips of me running and trying a few pairs out on the treadmill is a whole new world. Not cheap and they look pretty plain but they just felt right and hoping they'll help me push for the last couple of weeks.

Find those decathlon specials somewhere nice to spend their retirement... my daughter has her first running shoes on a shelf in her room now and looks at them often to remind herself how tough it was starting.
Enjoy many happy miles in those new kicks, and thanks for the shoe porn!
