Not ran for a week 😫

I’ve not had the chance to run this week as I’ve been so busy at work and the weather is so bad. So now I’m in a dilemma as my next run is 25mins and I’m a little worried. So I’m thinking of repeating my last two x 10 mins. What do people think? Or should I just give it a go? I think it’s all in my head now.

If that’s what would make you comfortable, then do so - but you won’t have lost any stamina in a week - I was off for a week before I done the 20 minute one, and went on it and was absolutely fine. It’s completely up to you on this one but I reckon you’d be able to do it if you took it slow. Good luck!

Thank you. I think I’m just trying to talk myself into it 😂

Give it a go! You already know you can do the 10min runs, and you've had more rest days so your body should be well and truly tested.

A week off is fine, your legs will be nice and rested, go for it, I think you’ll surprise yourself 👍

I agree with all of the above, give the 25 minutes a go, you might just surprise yourself ☺👍

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

Yeah I’m sure someone said on here recently that it would take 2-3 weeks for it to effect your stamina, so go for it, what have you got to lose 😊
