Good morning. I did my last 28 min run last night. I managed it but I found it so so hard. I don’t know why!! Now today I am scared I will not be able to do the 30 min run tomorrow. I had to cover the time on the treadmill as it seemed as time stood still. Did anyone else feel like this?

Thank you x

Don't worry, have just graduated, it can be a rollercoaster at times. I found one of my 28 mins tough as hell, but ended week 9 with 5k in 35 minutes. Since then there have been wonderful and less good runs, but I think that's just the nature of the beast. A bit like life, really! The benefits are still enormous.

Thank you. Congratulations on becoming a graduate. Bet it’s an amazing feeling. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll do my 30 mins x

You will get good days and bad days. All perfectly normal. Pay it no heed. It didn't feel great, ut you completed the run none-the-less.

Thank you. I think it’s just it’s so near you don’t want to failure on the last hurdle. I can honestly say my fitness is so much better. I never thought it would make such a difference.

Mental toughness plays a big part on these longer runs. So much more time to think and in-turn to doubt. Its hard running down a clock too. Distract yourself. You've got this.

I've just completed day 3 of week 8 and feel brilliant, day2 was awful! I'm learning to realise there will be fun, enjoyable runs, and tired, grumpy runs! The good outweigh the bad... so far!
