I did it, I did it!! Today was the culmination of the last 5 months work. I started C25K in january and have been doing consolidation runs for the last few weeks. I have been tracking my runs on map my run and my aim has been to get under that 30mins mark, and today I did it!!!! Everything just clicked I changed my route a bit and when the app said 23:42 for 4K I thought I took a deep breath and thought today is the day!! I even had a bit left at the end!!! It feels amazing and I have been buzzing all day, I can’t recommend this program enough. It’s given me a whole new lease of life!!! Keep on Running!!!

Congrats Stu. Great achievement mate.

Looking to join you in the next few weeks. I've just a started week 8 and I've managed to keep on track. Won't make the 5k in 30 mins by week 9 but won't be far off.

Next step 10K?

Congratulations on that time stupendouss82, a great lesson on pacing, from 6.18Km for the first kilometer gradually increasing to 5.17Km in the final 1000 metres, well done. 😊 🏃

Brilliant, but if you want to get faster still, you need to learn to slow down, as described in the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Long slow runs build stamina and strength better than pushing hard all the time, which is why elite athletes spend up to 80% of their running time at an easy conversational pace.

Sweet! And congrats. The graph looks as if a robot ran the 5kms. Everything is balanced.. as it should be. *Shut up inner Thanos!*
