I really didn’t enjoy the 25mins run and just wanted to give up as it wasn’t fun. I past many benches and had to use all my power not to stop and just watch the world go by.
I really enjoyed week 6 and wonder if 20 minutes is my limit.
On a plus it was a lovely day on the canal and a follow runner gave me the thumbs up!!!
I hope everyone is having a good day.

No you’ll be fine! Everyone has bad runs - totally normal! Makes the good ones sweeter. Make sure your drinking plenty of water the day before running. Onwards and upwards!
Hi, you’re doing great to get so far in the program 👍 i’m A returner to running after 7 years but I do know that sometimes the same run can be totally different, on Wednesday I did the same run as I did on Saturday morning, Wednesday I creamed it, really enjoyed it, it did me the world of good, Saturday however I was exhausted and nearly gave up on the last two sections... I didn’t, but it was sooo hard. Running is just like that I think, your next one will probably go fine. Keep at it you’re doing really well. And in answer to your question no I don’t think 20 minutes is all you’ve got in you ❤️
You did brilliantly to keep going. The transition to the longer runs is hard. Take more rest days if you need them and do some strengthening exercises or cross training instead. You can do this!
Horrible.. but you did it! I found those 25 minute runs really difficult, especially the last 5 minutes. Now you just have to stick at it, let your body and mind get used to this distance.
You're so close, just remember how far you've come... There's absolutely no doubt you can do this now! 💪👊🏃♀️
Hi there Em, you don’t realise how inspiring these kind of posts are and meaningful for those also having similar runs. How many rest days are you having between runs. I’m on W6 and reflecting on things I might want to change for the future weeks.
Take two days if you need it. The weeks 7 8 and 9 are solid runs and I would say the most testing part of the challenge, a lot of posts for these weeks are of people needing that extra bit of motivation and positivity to keep going!
You can do this, you’ve come soooo far now! I’m following your journey xx
