W4R1 completed! Secretly think I liked it๐Ÿ˜Š I ran in the rain for the first time (which is bizarre for the North West) really liked it, although really really need new trainers as Iโ€™m feeling it in my feet and legs.

Iโ€™m North West too and have done many runs in the rain .... I liked it too. I actually ran a bit further once because it started to hail stone ๐Ÿ˜

Wow not sure I could cope with hailstones

I did one of my runs in hail stones and one in sleet (in only a thin top). That was the week I got my credit card out and bought a waterproof jacket! :)

Well done for completing week 4. Getting the right trainers makes all the difference - if you can, go to a good running shop and get a gait analysis and some good advice. :)

I'm also in the North West... it's surprising how your definition of "rain" changes on this programme... it doesn't count as rain for me now unless it's pelting it down!

Well done on wk4 run1. I have just mine tonight too. If you have a runners need store near you I highly recommend going there for your new trainers. Good luck with your other2 runs this week.
