Week 8, run 2 after a week off

So after a bank holiday weekend of boozing and no running for a whole week *gasp*, I wasn't sure if I could still run at all, never mind for 28 minutes, but this morning I did it! It wasn't quick or pretty, but I did it.

I'm not writing to gloat (although admittedly I do feel pretty chuffed); the main reason I'm writing is, if anyone has had a week off and is unsure whether or not they can start off where they left it (in spite of a boozy few days) then just have a go, you'll probably be ok :-)

Sometimes having a few days off (though not necessarily boozy ones!) is good for your running :)

Definitely agree, can sometimes feel more energised after a bit of a break, as long as it’s not too long (or boozy 🥴)!
