Hi all, life has got in the way and it’s taken me 2 weeks to complete all 3 runs for week 3. So now I am unsure whether I should move on to week 4 or repeat w3 again. I manage to run (slowly) for the full running intervals but did find it hard and wanted to stop and had to go slower. So I’m not sure if I’m ready to move onto w4 yet. Thanks in advance for any advice.

a) going slower is a GOOD idea - you are aiming for a pace you can eventually sustain for 30 minutes

b) move on to 'week 4' because if you maintained a walking motion during the walk sections and maintained a running motion (however slow even if slower than the walks) during the run sections on three 'Week 3' named outings, however hard it felt, you have succeeded and you are ready, physically, for week 4.

I was aprehensive to move from week 3 to week4 fearing I couldnt do 5 minutes constant but tried it today and surprised myself and the feeling of accomplishment is huge- yes it was stretching but not as bad as I envisaged, the programne is working , you made week 3 so have a go at week4 slowly slowly - you might surprise yourself 👍
