So I’ve just completed W3R3 but it was a week since I did R2. Should I repeat anything before I move to W4 or do you think I’ll be ok? This run was hard but completely do-able. TIA

A lot of people have this experience.

Top flight athletes take weeks off by design.

Back to reality, slow and steady at your happy pace.

That is the only way.👍

Enjoy and keep smiling.🌟👏👏

Thanks! I’m going to take your advice, if I struggle I can always come back to W3 I guess 😊

I’ve also just finished week 3 and would match your description - hard but doable. Slightly apprehensive about having to run for 5 mins in week 4. Not sure I think I can do it. Be interested to hear how you get on

Hi, nice to hear from someone who’s at the same point as me! Congratulations! I feel the same as you about W4! Let’s see how we get on 😊

How have you got on? I’ve done 2 week 4 runs now. I just kept telling myself to keep going. Can’t say I found it easy, and my legs definitely felt it afterwards but felt so pleased to have done it.

Hi, sorry for late reply. I’m doing the 2nd week 4 run tonight. The first wasn’t as bad as I’d anticipated. I did the same-kept telling myself to keep at it! And when it was over I was so chuffed! My right knee and left Achilles were really sore yesterday but seem to be ok today🤞🏼x

Congratulations! You are a full third of the way through the programme.

Now, you may be best getting advice from experienced runners, but if you want my two penne'th, I would say to start week 4. You finished week 3, so move on.

If you can't complete W4R1, next time try it again, only take a step back if you need to.

Good luck next week.

Just go straight ahead onto week 4. Long breaks are really useful and will hold you in good stead XX It starts to get easier in the next couple of weeks. X
