Report back once you have completed the run, good luck. 👍

Thanks Al! I’m back. Found that really hard. The 3rd 5 min run was against the wind and uphill. Bad planning! Also I’ve had 2 unhealthy days (too many biscuits and not enough sleep) so I think that affected my energy levels. My plan is to get back to healthy ways and repeat that run in 2 days time. I know people say not to repeat but I think it’s the right thing for me.

If you want to repeat it, then do. Hopefully you'll find it easier next time. I try to just stick with the programme (was very tempted to repeat Week 3 but that was a wobble of confidence having had a look ahead to Week 4) but do what works for you! I'm doing my final run of Week 7 tomorrow and really hoping it'll be a good one so I can start Week 8 with confidence... 😅

Well done Mary on completing run 1 of week 5, there are no rules saying that you cannot repeat any runs or week's, you can repeat as many runs or week's or for that matter what I have been doing, the whole program, tomorrow morning it's a rerun for me of run 3 of week 5, if you don't know what that is, I'll not tell you 😛

For you, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 5 unless you want to repeat run 1 🏃👍

Thanks Al. Great to get the advice from people who are further ahead in the programme.

#ButtercupKid on this forum established a new definition of perseverance: repeating 9 times of week one. One can only keep respectful silence against such willpower, so no harm by doing it again.

Well done! You are heading for 2/3 of the way through :-)

Seriously well done.

Whether you repeat or not, you’re doing brilliantly. 😘

I’m battling the demons. Thankfully it comes in phases though, so I’ll trust to feeling more positive on my next run day tomorrow. Thanks for support.

Thanks for that - I actually (maybe foolishly) like it being a surprise... I’m worried that it might put me off even trying if I know what’s ahead. I’ve appreciated all your info about the programme. Really well explained and easy to follow.
