Can’t believe tomorrow morning I’m starting week 9. Anyone else on the same week?

I'm due to run week 9 run 3 either tomorrow or the day after.

It's kinda weird that it seems to be here all of a sudden.

Good luck - you will be great!

Agree with it being weird. I am due to do W9R3 tomorrow. I started the programme on 15th April.

See you on the graduation podium! You will recognize me - I will be the one with the red face. Lol

I am going to do week 9 run 1 this morning.

I'm a bit scared.

You will be great. It’s only an extra 2 minutes. You can do this 😁

I started with W9R1 yesterday morning at exactly 9 o'clock, my run went perfectly well with no effects on my legs unlike the running of day 3 of week 8, on that run my right leg threatened to tighten up after 5 minutes but sorted itself out for the rest of that run after a few minutes. So the first 30 minutes of the final week in the bag. Run 2 of week 9 on Saturday morning on the same route.

I struggled with the jump in routine on week 7 but have been ok with the rest thankfully. Don’t you feel good when you finish a run 😁. I’m sticking to the same route for week 9 too. We are nearly there!

I do feel very good when I finish any of my runs, exhilarated but not shattered, like having had been on a good cycling run, I have been a cyclist for the last 40 or so years so I thought I would take up running with C25K to see what the difference was, the difference is that I feel within the first 5 minutes of running as if I have been cycling for an hour or so. I went a walk this morning, my rest day on the exact same route as I ran yesterday and will be running on Saturday for my second week 9 run, when I ran it was 30 minutes, when walking at a leisurely pace I timed it as 52 minutes, so there is a difference between running and walking on the same route, all the best to you for week 9, your third graduation run.

What a difference between the walk and the run. It’s the buzz you get when you complete the run. See you in the podium 😁

Update for you Tracy, I completed W9R2 this afternoon, so only 1 more run for me which will be on Monday, week 9 run 3.

Amazing. I’m going to do w9r2 tomorrow as I’ve been super busy at work so absolutely knackered this morning 😬. Good luck with run 3 😁

You replied to my previous post Tracy, just to tell you that on Monday morning I completed Run 3Week 9 and feel very happy about that.

Started my week 9 runs yesterday evening.

In some ways I'm a little sad to be in the final week as this has been one of the greatest journeys of my life and will miss the weekly challenges that this plan has given us.

But on the other hand "YAY I can run for 30 Minutes non stop", I've never felt better and know that I'm not nearing the end, but just beginning a long and happy journey into the world of running with all you other amazing people.

Hope your run went ok this morning.

Indeed Jay,

These are exciting times, we've all come a long way and done so well.

But now we are equipped and can slowly begin our long and happy journey.
