I know it's going to get harder, but I'm really enjoying being out and about at street level, noticing sunsets and nature! I'm so used to driving everywhere. After 50 years, I'm actually beginning to 'get' running!

That's a lovely sunset! Great that you're enjoying it and I have to say that the hardest part for me was just getting started on W1 R1 - you're over that hurdle already so well done!

Welcome. I started running when I was 50 which was 2 years ago.

I hope you have an enjoyable experience with running. This is a very supportive forum and wish you well. 🏃‍♀️

Well done. I started almost a year ago at the age of 61 and I have to say that week 1 was extremely hard. Just running continuously for a minute was such an effort I thought I would never be able to complete the program. BUT I found that it gradually got easier, I stuck with it and I now run for 30 mins 3 times a week. One of the best things I have ever done for sure.

Well done. I found the first week hard but am really glad I kept going. It's still hard sometimes but I did w4 r1 yesterday morning and am rather chuffed with myself! It's great being outdoors and fantastic as you see yourself making progress. Keep running!
