Or the fact the new route I took today seemed to be all on a gentle uphill gradient (in defiance of logic).
But I'm done. Tired again but done. Week eight - maybe I'll start Sunday. Give myself a day or two to recover first.

Well done Mary, week 7 is hard so you've achieved a lot! Don't worry about getting slower, that happens to a lot of us as we get to the later weeks. Just focus on getting to the end of each run regardless of time and remember - week is is only three extra minutes each time!
Week Six was when I realised that I needed to change my route if I was not to end all my runs on a fairly steep hill. That hill is now back on my home 5k route as I know that hills are good for stamina, but there is every reason for making your C25k runs as easy as possible, especially if you are getting tired.
Don't worry about slowing down, you are running for longer now, so slowing down makes perfect sense.
Maybe your route was designed by Escher? If you go in the other direction it will be downhill all the way! Really well done - you are so close to graduation
