Zippedy-doo-dah!

What a wonderful day! After a little bit of doubt and procrastination, I put on my trainers and did my 2nd run. Thanks to everyone who replied to my post yesterday and sent such encouraging responses. It really helped me. I took on board what everyone said about going SLOW and I particularly took note of the slow Japanese running technique. Keeping my head up, back straight, small steps and not landing on my heels meant that the 60 seconds seemed to pass by a lot quicker than yesterday! Living by the sea and running in glorious weather also helps. I am very fortunate. I even walked to my tap dance class tonight, did 45 minutes of tap, then walked home again. What have I become in 3 days??? A very happy bunny! YAY! Thanks to YOU for your support and encouragement!

Thanks Jogunlikely - run 3 tomorrow. Thinking of doing this to my friend's house, amd wondering if it would be wise or not to do it on the way back too...? (Or maybe I will find my legs will only let me walk!)

Your enthusiasm is commendable but just be careful, you don't want to risk injury so early on (or ever)

Stick to the plan, as it has been formulated to give improvement whilst minimising risk.

Nothing to stop you walking back from your friends.

Happy running x
